Enlarge, stretch and lengthen. Three words that increased our wonder about God. This was the forerunner to a call on our lives that was continually confirmed by His mighty works and promises.
We see Him in it. We love His design for it. It has become our passion to do it well. While watching God work in our lives, curiosity heightened and we sensed a new season begin to line up with our gifts and talents all the while complimenting the growth of godly family.
To that end, we can’t get enough of Him and keep giving chase. Our hearts’ desire is to see the family of God thrive, both in the home and the church. This is where our call leads us: to support and encourage godly families.
To bear the image of our one true God through His design for family.
We have been called to serve with Africa Inland Mission (AIM) as dorm parents at Rift Valley Academy (RVA) in Kijabe, Kenya, Africa. Beginning in July 2017 our role will be to serve high school students by discipling, supporting academic needs and providing encouragement at performances and sporting events. As a family, we will live with and invest in the lives of these students while enabling growth, maturity and independence. Our support will allow their parents to serve in remote areas throughout Africa.
Rift Valley Academy, a ministry of Africa Inland Mission, is a Christian boarding school in central Kenya. RVA serves about 500 missionary children representing 30 nationalities and 80 mission organizations and churches.
RVA exists to support current mission work while investing in the next generation of missionaries and gospel-bearers. As a branch of Africa Inland Mission, the goal is to see Christ-centered churches among all African peoples.
